Imagine a magnificent river, stunning mountains, acres of fruit orchards, Mediterranean beaches and a unique river delta. Imagine the spring blossom, the flash of a kingfisher, the eagles soaring overhead and perhaps a glimpse of wild mountain goats. Pepper this with ancient villages and historic cities and then add a liberal amount of fiestas and traditions and a proud and distinct culture and you pretty much have a picture of this southern corner of Catalonia.

We are fortunate to live in the heart of this region and our holiday apartments are part of our home here in Mora d'Ebre. We would like to invite you to come and share it with us........

Accommodation:
Two spacious apartments with an enviable, riverside position on a quiet street at the edge of town. Both are comfortably furnished to a high standard and have fabulous views over the River Ebro.

Mora d’Ebre: A small, rural town nestled in the Ebro Valley and surrounded by stunning scenery, Mora d'Ebre has a thriving shopping centre but still retains it's small-town charm and traditions.

The Area: A fertile river valley which cuts through several mountain ranges creating some dramatic scenery. From River Ebro Apartments you are within easy reach of 3 Natural Parks: to the south the flatlands and lagoons of the Ebro Delta, to the north-east the Montsant mountain range in the Priorat region and to the south-west the wild and craggy mountains of Els Ports. All this in addition to being only 30 minutes from the Costa Dorada.

Activities: Catfish and carp fishing on the River Ebro is an obvious attraction. But if you are looking for a Bird-watching or  walking holiday in Spain this is a really fabulous and largely undiscovered  area. Other opportunities are cycling, horse-riding, canoeing golf and climbing. Or simply relax by the river and do nothing in beautiful, tranquil surroundings.

Sightseeing and places of interest: Castles and caves, picturesque villages, museums, local handicrafts and wine tours. Roman remains in Tarragona and only 2 hours from the exciting city of Barcelona.

Beaches and resorts: Quiet sandy beaches, quaint fishing ports or the bustling resorts of Cambrils, Salou and exciting theme park of Port Aventura.

For families, couples or activity-based groups – there really is something for everyone here. We hope you enjoy browsing our website and that it will give you a good idea of what this region has to offer. However, it is impossible to include every detail so please feel free to contact us for anything else you would like to know.
