Apartments
are situated on a quiet street which runs along the river bank in
Mora d'Ebre. The riverside location is peaceful and
relaxing but it is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town
where there is a good selection of shops, cafes, bars and
restaurants. Our neighbours are local Catalan people. Perhaps
still a little bemused that their small town now attracts
holiday-makers they are nevertheless friendly and welcoming. If you
can manage to speak a few words of Spanish or even better Catalan
which is their mother tongue they will be delighted! |

The
property itself is
a traditional 4-storey village house which has been converted to
modern, fully-equipped apartments which enjoy uninterrupted views
over the river. In each apartment the kitchen is equipped with
plenty of good quality crockery, cutlery, saucepans and cooking
utensils. And there is no need to spend a small fortune on items that
you will only use a fraction of as we stock the cupboards with basic
items such as tea-bags, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar,
washing up liquid, kitchen roll etc. The lounge and bedrooms are
simply but tastefully furnished with good-quality sofas and furniture
to ensure that your stay is relaxed and comfortable – a true
home-from-home.
Whilst
a
self-catering
holiday offers great freedom and flexibility, we know that there are
some days when you don't feel like preparing a meal or even getting
ready to go out to a restaurant. So let us cook for you! We offer
an Italian, traditional English or Indian menu. We will cook it,
bring it up to your apartment, leave you to eat and then come and
collect the dirty dishes. You can then sit back and relax and enjoy a
night in perhaps watching a DVD or just sit on the balcony with a
bottle of wine and watch the river go by!

Apartments are inspected and registered
with the Catalunya
Tourist Board. In the very unlikely event that you should have cause
for complaint about the accommodation it also gives you recourse to
make an official complaint to its Consumer Agency which will look
into the matter on your behalf.

LES PAPALLONAS (Sleeps 6/7)
Les
Papallonas (Catalan
for “Butterflies”) is located on the 2nd floor of the
property, this is a spacious, two bedroom apartment which is ideal
for larger families or groups. It has a large kitchen/dining room and
a separate comfortable lounge. Both dining room and lounge have patio
doors to the balcony giving you a magnificent view over the river.

provide a full size cot with all sheets and bedding, a changing mat,
bath and potty free of charge.

Miscellaneous:
All the rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and we also provide
portable fans. For cooler seasons there are radiators and calor gas
heaters. Bathroom and kitchen towels and all bed linen is provided.
To take the weight from your suitcases we have beach towels and beach
mats to hire. Cool box with picnic plates and cutlery also available
to hire.
(When
planning your stay please take into account the bed and bedroom
arrangements. The maximum capacity of 7 is based on using the 2
double beds. If you are a group holidaying together (anglers - this
usually applies to you!!) this may not be suitable in which case the
maximum capacity is 5. For a sixth person an extra single bed can be
provided in the large bedroom at a cost of £25 per week.)

ELS OCELLS (3rd Floor - Sleeps 4)

Els
Ocells (Catalan for “Birds”) is a spacious one-bedroom apartment
ideal for couples or a small family. Being on the top floor this has
the added advantage of outside terraces and is becoming a firm
favourite with our regular guests. There is a large rear terrace for
sunbathing and a front terrace with patio table and chairs where you
can eat whilst admiring the superb view over the river. In keeping
with the apartment name it is also a great vantage point to watch the
birdlife – so keep your binoculars handy!

Safety
The safety and comfort of our guests is paramount. Each apartment is
fitted with a smoke alarm, a fire extinguisher and a fire
blanket. There is no smoking allowed inside the apartments and we
respectfully request that smokers use the outside balconies and
terraces. |
