Climbing

As the second most mountainous country in Europe, Spain has thousands of metres of rock to climb and the landscape inland of the Costa Dorada is no exception. It has several mountain ranges and hundreds of climbing routes of all grades including Vias Ferratas.

Although our apartments are located in the river valley all these areas are easily reached from here. The nearest climbs to our property are 20 minutes drive away at Tivissa. The well known cliffs of Siurana, La Riba, Arboli, and Montsant are to the North East, and to the West are the Roques de Benet in the Els Ports mountains. To the south facing out over the Ebro Delta is the range of Monsia.
