Frequently asked questions about the Ebro

Is it necessary to hire a car?

We strongly recommend that you hire a car to get the best form the area. Public transport is not available to the best beauty spots or outlying villages.

What are the roads like?

There is an excellent road network which is kept very well maintained - even the minor roads in the mountains and around the villages. The volume of traffic is very low and driving can actually be a pleasure again!

How will we find the property?

During the booking process we will provide you with detailed directions to the apartments.

I don't want to do any touring so I don't really need a car. Can you do airport pick-ups?

Yes we can. Please see our optional extras for prices and contact us.

Do you provide sheets and towels?

Yes. All bedlinen, kitchen towels and bathroom towels are provided. Beach towels are not included but may be hired.

Is there an elevator?

Sorry, no. The property is a village house which is over 100 years old. We converted it 3 apartments but it was not possible to install a lift.

Does the property have air-conditioning/central heating?

Not at the moment. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and we also provide portable fans. For the cooler times of year there are oil-filled radiators and calor gas heaters.

Is the property suitable for children?

In common with most Spanish homes (and hotels) our apartments have balconies. Parents/adults have the responsibility to ensure that young children are not left alone alone on the balconies and are not allowed to climb on the railings or balustrade. We have accommodated many families with young children with no problems.

Do you accept dogs?

Yes. We aim to be dog-friendly and will permit one dog with a well-behaved owner per apartment! By this we mean that owners should not leave their dog alone in the apartment for extended periods nor allow their pet to sleep on furniture or beds. Owners are accountable for any damage or extra cleaning.

Is smoking permitted?

No. Not in the apartments. You may however, smoke on the balconies.

Is there a pool?

There is no pool at the apartments but there is a public outdoor pool a couple of minutes drive away. It is open from about 24th June - 11th September and has 2 pools,children's pool, lawned areas, bar and restaurant.

How do we obtain fishing licences?

We can arrange your fishing licences so that they are ready for you on arrival if you provide us with a copy of your passport details.

Is there a tackle shop for bait etc?

Yes. We can tell you where to go/what to use when you arrive.

What about guided fishing?

We can send you information about local guiding services and tackle hire. Please contact us.

What kind of weather can we expect?

To get an idea of the usual weather at the time of year you plan to visit go to: Mora Weather History Click on History. In the first box choose (for example) maximum temp, 2nd box choose 4 weeks. 3rd box choose the month. Final box choose the previous year. Look back at the last few years. Then go through the process again for minimum temp/precipitation etc.
